Day 12: On Mistakes and Working With Them

I realized a while back ago that I made a major boo-boo on my painting.  Can you guess what it is?  I will just work with it and manage.  Nobody will probably notice by the time I'm done.

I got a lot of advice from a friend today on my painting which gave me a little more confidence.  I would list out all her pointers but I forgot my notes.  One major-ly thing that stuck out to me she had pointed out that I have to point out as well- for the sake of other painters who may have had no clue like me when I started on this project: ALWAYS START WITH YOUR BACKGROUND!!!!

I got some of the frustrations-of-an-amateur out of my system and worked (while listening to Christian rock/ contemporary) for about a half-hour:

Feeling satisfied for the day, I then went and said "hi" to some of my co-workers at the daycare.

I really couldn't help myself and had to play with my favorite kindergartner, too.

Her name is Emily :)  It was a great way to spend one of my last days in Tipton.

I am guessing that the work to look forward to now may be very slow and technical.... so hang in there with me.

I still have the rest of the month to go you know.
