Day 15: Blues, Grays and My Paper Plate Pallette


You see that gray-ish area at the bottom?  That was supposed to be a light blue.  I assumed that the bottle being labeled "medium blue" would mean blue.... but no. 

I was able to use my poor judgement of blue.  When I mixed it with white, it came out to this nice gray that turned out to be a shade Van Gogh used in the swirls in the sky- or atleast my copy of the painting looks that way.

So yeah, it's pretty nice to be able to work with the mistakes. 

Whooooops!  I got kinda wacky and didn't create a really good illusion of movement but I will paint over that WITH LIGHT BLUE.
