Day 8: It's not Black.... it's Deep Purple.

Tonight I tried to do as much as possible.  I worked for maybe another hour or more.  It has the look of a silhouette but that is definitely NOT what I am going for.... I will add more color later.

If only acrylic didn't dry out so fast, then maybe I could make certain colors stand out better....?

It's not just black.  It's also blue and red.  It just looks black.  I promise.

Or perhaps I just don't know how to blend a good standard purple?

Anyways, today was pretty much wonderful because I made a little money, got my fill of the small-town gossip and got to see some of my favorite people.

Speaking of favorite people- I cannot wait to see Kendra tomorrow.

I listened to Handel's Water Music.... random I know.  I wanted to create more of a sense of formality, I suppose.

I think it worked and it depressed me.

Hence the blackness?
